Adding Students
1. Bulk upload from a class roster
You can add students at the Roster tab in the left nav bar. Click Upload roster button to add students in bulk from Gradescope or your LMS.
2. Add individually
You can also add students individually by click Add student button.
3. Use the course link
You can also add students by sharing the Invitation Link in the Settings tab. Students will be able to sign in to your course using this link. After they join, you will be able to see their names in the Roster tab.
Adding Other Instructors
You can add other instructors to the course by clicking Add instructor button in the Roster tab.
Allowing other school domains to join
To protect institution's data privacy, we only allow officially listed school domains to join the course (e.g. @berkeley.edu for UC Berkeley courses). Thus, instructors and students need to use their official school email to join courses in Pensive.
If you want to allow other email domains to join the course (e.g. subdomains like @math.berkeley.edu or @gmail.com), you should specify in the Additional School Domains section in the Settings tab.
